Access to Canvas has been restored, and all systems are operational.
Canvas experienced a global service disruption between approximately 1:00 a.m. MT, 10/20/2025 until 5:45 p.m. MT, 10/20/2025 due to an Amazon Web Services (AWS) outage. AWS provides cloud-based IT service such as computing power, storage, databases, and networking and powers many CSU services, including Canvas.
